Madhees looking for VMAX/NetApp/CLARiiON Administrators having experience in 8-9 Years(Relevant: 6 years in storage)@Bangalore

Mandatory skills:
knowledge on Cisco Switches
Knowledge or Experience on Vblock/UCS
Knowledge Hypervisor connectivity with storage
Trouble shooting experience and awareness of connectivity and topology with Storage, Switch and Hypervisor

Role summary:
The Global Infrastructure Services (GIS) team within IT works closely with the various business units to build and run infrastructure to support the growing needs.This candidate will act as a member of Monsanto’s Advanced Support Level 3 Support team as a VMAX/VNX/CLARiiON storage Administrator. The candidate will handle support activities for:
• EMC Suite (VMAX, VNX, Clarion) – including firmware upgrades, storage allocation, volume management, performance analysis, troubleshooting,
• Switches ( Brocade, Cisco MDS) administration
• NetApp – including share export, establishing quotas, managing day-to-day operations on NetApp filers, and performance monitoring.
• Working knowledge of Hypervisor- V-Block, Cisco UCS
• In depth working knowledge of both GUI and CLI interface
Preferred Software Skills

EMC Suite (VMAX, VNX, Clarion) / Switches (Brocade, Cisco MDS)
VMAX , CLARiiON, Brocade Support , Netapp Support

Desired Skills:

• Dell Equal Logic storage array experience
• VMware VSphere V5.x experience
• Cisco UCS experience
• Perl and/or Bash scripting experience


 

Education Requirements: University degree – B.Tech/BS/MCA/B.Sc(Computers)
